Most Hilarious Guitar Design Ever
I’ve seen some funky ars guitar shapes in my life, but this bass guitar is easily the funniest to me. I have to admit I love practical jokes and I love the double take nature of this one! Brilliant!
This is Stig Pedersen from Denmark’s band D-A-D. Thanks to blogger G L Wilson for finding this image. Check out his blog for more funky ars guitar photos like the concrete guitar.

That is so Photoshopped, it’s not even funny.
Cooch @ 12:56 am:
Funny! Good news is that there are only two strings to keep in tune!!!

Ian @ 2:27 am:
I can’t believe somebody thought it was photoshopped. It’s pretty sweet, though. I’m willing to bet I know its tuning (D and A).

This is absolutely true. i’m from Denmark, and i’ve seen them live a couple of times. The bass player always use just 2 strings. he gets his basses made in koege, south of copenhagen.
that fella @ 6:59 pm:
umm Photoshop is not a verb… stop using it as one… plus this guitar is awsome
does it come in left and right hand designs?
Jeppe @ 9:04 pm:
It’s not photoshopped, I saw them last year at a festival, Stig also has a space rocket and lots of other funny/crazy basses
Jazz Nieuwjaarsreceptie @ 11:13 pm:
I guess this bassplayer just figured why have more strings I only use the low ones anyway…
I did not know they still played.

Simon @ 3:38 pm:
Haha, those who think it’s photoshopped.. Shut up, it ain’t .. I’ve seen them live, and he got a lot of different basses that looks wierd

Joppe @ 7:50 pm:
No it’s not “photoshopped”, saw them last week before Motörhead and his bass really looks like that.
ArrGee @ 8:52 pm:
That fella,
Are you the guy that sells comics on The Simpsons.
Go out, get a life and have a drink sometime.

Mark @ 1:31 pm:
NOT PHOTOSHOP, it’s a real bass - seen them live… They’re called D.A.D, which stands for Disneyland After Dark, a name they had to drop after Disney sued them. The bass-player, Stig, has a number of crazy designs, but always plays with two strings only. They had mild success in the 80s and 90s, so I’m sure you can find them on youtube.
Peace
Benny @ 8:48 pm:
That’s very cool! Love it!

dan @ 12:31 am:
im not even a very skeptical person but i thought it was photoshopped as well and i play bass and have been for 5 years, but im surprised no one made a comment about his clear bass cabinets thats crazy as well.
Michael Jae @ 4:16 am:
Dang, Dan I hadn’t even noticed the clear bass cabinets at all until you mentioned that! Good eye.

lol What the fuck is with Photoshop these days?
Yeah, I get the occasional UFO, but COME ON PEOPLE!
Start looking shit up before randomly spouting “IT’S SHOPPED” and making a total ass of yourself.
You know who you are.
